The Alpha Omega Gamma Chapter at Tufts University is an active dental fraternity open to all students interested in joining. Throughout the year, AO organizes many fundraisers, learning opportunities, and fun-filled activities, such as Dinner with the Dean and trips to Mohegan Sun Casino and Fenway Park. Study Club Dinners offer students and local AO alumni the chance to learn about new dental products and technologies while enjoying a FREE dinner at one of Boston's fabulous restaurants. Each Spring, AO members participate in "Special Olympics, Special Smiles", which is a great opportunity for students to get involved in a charitable organization while also getting some hands-on experience working with special needs patients. Tufts AO also organizes an outreach program at the New England Medical Center where students work one-on-one with geriatric and psychiatric patients to teach them about oral hygiene. Throughout the year, AO holds many social events for members and their families, ranging from picnics and BBQs to ice skating and Red Sox games!
